At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:

1. Cite current evidence and safety guidelines regarding the indications and use of energy sources in the OR

2.  Discuss strategies to improve surgical care and outcomes while minimizing patient harm when using energy sources during surgery

3. Review potential strategies for early identification and managemetn of patient injury
