Have you been thinking about breastfeeding your baby, but you aren't quite sure if it is right for you? At this class you will learn about the benefits of breastfeeding, how to prepare for breastfeeding, how to get the baby on the breast properly, the father's role, breastfeeding pumps and supplies, and how to avoid common problems.
Saturday one-day classes are held 1:30 PM-5:00 PM at Woman's. You are encouraged to bring a support person to this class. The fee is per couple.
I'm so glad that I decided to attend this class. It has a lot of information and is taught in a way that is easy to understand and learn. The instructor allowed a lot of time for questions which was very much appreciated.

Attend this class after your fourth month of pregnancy.
If this class is held during your dinner hour, we encourage you to either eat before you come to class or to bring snack food with you to eat during class. Notify Laura if you need assistance due to a disability recognized by the ADA.
