This program is designed to discuss innovation and how leaders can embrace and promote it amoung their staff.

Objectives: At the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

• Define innovation in terms of practice or example at Woman's Hospital.
• Explain the key aspects of the innovative process.
• Recognize the conditions that warrant a need for innovation.
• Identify methods for overcoming barriers to innovation.

The facilitator is Aimee Hansen, MA, Education Coordinator, Woman's Hospital.

6.0 Contact Hours are awarded for this program by Woman's Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA, an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, Provider #19. You must attend the entire program and complete the evaluation form to receive the contact hours.

Fee of $65 includes continental breakfast, resource materials, and contact hours.
