Learning Objectives that will be met:

1.    Evaluate incidence and implications of GDM with emphasis on evaluation and impact of GDM on developing type 2 diabetes (T2DM)

2.    Describe the importance of  postpartum screening in women with prior GDM

3.    Discuss the risk of GDM and T2DM as well as treatment options to improve metabolic parameters in women with PCOS

4.    Critically analyze recent evidence from clinical research supporting the use of anti-diabetic medications in this patient population
