You don’t have to be small, toothless and cuddly to get the attention you need.
We know how overwhelming the prospect of pregnancy and parenthood can be. That’s why we’ve organized a fun way to give you, the expectant parents, the attention you need at the beginning of your journey to parenthood. Presented by Woman’s Hospital each spring and fall, Baby Grand is the biggest and best baby fair in the area. We invite expectant parents to the grand event, which offers a collection of activities for expectant families, including meeting with vendors, tours of Woman’s Hospital, meeting with pediatricians and other healthcare experts, and a variety of workshops. Educational sessions cover topics such as breastfeeding, car seats, and infant safety. Tours begin every 30 minutes in the Labor and Delivery waiting area from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Plus, you can register for fabulous door prizes and enjoy lunch specials and free parking. (no strollers please)

Classes
Don’t forget to take time to attend some or all of our classes. These are only offered at Baby Grand and will hopefully help make bringing a new baby into the world easier, less stressful and more enjoyable when you know what to expect.
Meet the Pediatricians
Day Surgery Waiting Area, 9:30 AM—Noon.
Take advantage of this opportunity to meet and interview several pediatricians before choosing the one that you will entrust with the healthcare of your child. Don’t forget to register in this room for the Grand Prize drawing of a pack and play donated by Babies “R” Us.
Take a Tour
Labor and Delivery Waiting Room. 9:00 AM—Noon.
See first hand why Woman’s Hospital is “The Birthplace of Baton Rouge.” Tours will run every 30 minutes beginning at 9:00 AM, in the Labor and Delivery waiting area on the second floor. The final tour will begin at Noon. Hospital tours are conducted by RN’s from Labor and Delivery and the Mother/Baby departments. Welcome and introductions by Cheri Johnson, RNC, BSN, Director of Obstetrical Services.
Maternity Fashion Show
Founder’s Plaza. 12:30 PM.
Join us for a maternity fashion show and you’ll get a look at all of the new fashion trends for the mom-to-be. The Fashion Show is presented by Destination Maternity.
See Fitness Demonstrations
Prenatal Yoga. Founder’s Plaza. 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
Yoga can help you prepare physically, mentally and emotionally for giving birth and becoming a mother. Moms-to-be are led through a wide range of poses adapted for the ever-changing pregnant body, preparing them for labor and motherhood, as well as helping to alleviate some of the associated discomforts of pregnancy.
Strong Mamas. Founder’s Plaza. 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.
Pregnancy exercise class designed to focus on preparing your body for the changes of pregnancy, labor and delivery. This cardio and strength training routine will help improve energy level, attitude and self image.
Baby Steps. Founder’s Plaza. 11:30 AM and Noon.
An exercise class for moms to do with their babies! Providing the right combination of cardio and strength training to get you back to pre-baby shape while increasing energy levels to handle the demanding job of motherhood. The class targets all major muscle groups.
Great Prizes
Founder’s Plaza. Drawing at 1:00 PM.
With more than 50 great prizes, there’s sure to be something you’ll need. Turn in your completed List of Exhibitors at the Registration Tent on the Plaza after visiting all exhibitors. Winners must be present.
