LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify some of the more common complications noted in term newborns.
  2. Describe clinical presentation, assessment, and treatment of such complications.
  3. Discuss risk factors and predictors for various newborn complications.
