Learning Objectives: At the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify trauma-informed care strategies useful in the perinatal population.
  2. Describe how trauma-informed care is a multidisciplinary effort.
  3. Discuss how previous trauma can affect a patient’s perinatal experience.
  4.  Recognize best practices in providing trauma-informed care throughout the pregnancy and post-partum period.
