  1. Discuss the empirical rationale and efficacy of suicide safety planning for patients at elevated risk for suicide.
  2. Apply risk assessment and safety planning to a variety of patient populations.
  3. Reference a variety of available resources to maintain the most current evidence-based practice related to suicide safety planning.
