Janet L. Olson
Janet Olson joined Chase in April 2016 as the Baton Rouge Market Executive where she leads the commercial banking, community outreach and philanthropy efforts. She manages the Commercial Banking team and provides clients with advice and guidance on their financial needs. Janet is also engaged in the development of new business. Prior to joining Chase, she was a senior banker with Capital One for 30 years working in various positions including commercial banking and credit risk. For more than 20 years she was a Senior Vice President managing a diverse commercial banking client base.
Janet is very active in the Baton Rouge community through various business and civic organizations. Currently she serves as the Chair of the Pennington Biomedical Research Center Foundation Board, the past Chair of the Foundation for Woman’s Board of Trustees, is a member of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and is a founding board member of Baton Rouge Area Kids Fore Golf Foundation, a local First Tee chapter. She is also a member of the Mayor’s Roundtable Committee and the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge. Previously she has served as Chairman of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge Foundation and as a board member of the Rotary Club. Janet is a graduate of both the Baton Rouge Chamber Leadership Program and Leadership Louisiana. In 2012 she was a recipient of the Influential Woman in Business Award and in 2017 was honored by the Emerge Center as a Volunteer Activist.
Janet received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She lives in Baton Rouge, LA and has two children, Bennett and Laura.
