Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Stephanie Anderson, CPA, is Woman's Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Stephanie joined us in December 1990 and was promoted to her current role in April 2014. She served as Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer prior to this promotion. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1984. She is a certified public accountant in the State of Louisiana and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Woman's, she was an Audit Manager for the public accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick, where she specialized in healthcare and obtained the designation of statistical audit specialist.

Stephanie has administrative responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the organization and oversees the senior vice president responsible for the areas of medical staff services, health information management, graduate medical education, regulatory compliance, and quality, and four vice presidents responsible for the areas of finance, patient accounting, materials management, admissions/registration, medical audit, managed care, operational excellence, compliance, therapy services, fitness and spa services, Woman's Center for Wellness, Child Development Center, human resources, information systems, and ancillary services that include imaging, lab, research, marketing, environmental services, and food and nutrition.

Stephanie is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association and its CFO Forum. She currently serves on the board of directors of Capital Area United Way, McMains Children's Developmental Center, and Elan Cotillion. She is also a member of the Louisiana Hospital Association Finance Committee, the Dean's Advisory Council of the LSU College of Business, the Louisiana Commercial Client Advisory Board for Capital One Bank, Baton Rouge Area Chamber's Business Development Advisory Committee, and the Mayor's Health City Initiative and Community Health Needs Assessment Committee. She has previously served on the board of directors of the American Heart Association, Our Lady of Mercy School Board, and Leadership/Greater Baton Rouge Alumni, serving a term as President for the latter two organizations. She is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Baton Rouge Program and Leadership Louisiana. She was named one of Baton Rouge Business Report's Influential Women in Business in 2011 and was the recipient of LSU Women's Center's "Esprit de Femme" award in 2012.
