Kurt M. Scott, FACHE

Vice President, Ancillary Services

Kurt joined the Woman's management team in July 2014. He has more than 30 years experience in hospital operations and leadership. In his current role he has executive responsibility for leading the Ancillary Services division, which includes Imaging, Laboratory, Research, Environmental Services and Food and Nutrition Services, as well as Social Services and Outpatient Clinics.

Prior to joining Woman's, he served for seven years as CEO of the Louisiana State University Bogalusa Medical Center in Washington Parish. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership roles at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie as well as Hotel Dieu Hospital and Touro Infirmary in New Orleans.

He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds an MBA with a finance concentration from Loyola University. He is a graduate of the Loyola University Institute of Politics and the Health Care Executive Leadership Development Institute of the American College of Health Care Executives.

Kurt's community service includes the boards of the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, the finance committee of Archbishop Rummel High School and the Advisory Board of the Tulane University Bogalusa Heart Study Children's Health Program. He also served as a volunteer executive with the United Way, Junior Achievement and the American Heart Association. Kurt is certified in healthcare administration by the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves on the organization’s Louisiana Regent's Advisory Council.
